The answer is yes. After, examining the scriptures, we realize essential oils are valuable and used daily. From creation in Genesis 1:29-30 we read that Creator God made plants for our nourishment and medical needs. Based on these scriptures, alone we should be convinced that essential oils are valuable and we should use the in our daily routines. In the book of James, he explains that we should pray and we should have the elders of the church pray with us. James tells us to use our prayer line for the healing of our bodies, souls, and minds. Christians would be obeying God’s word if we would all learn to trust him. The people of biblical times used essential oils daily. Presently, an abundance of people are understanding the health care benefits. In biblical days, essential oils provided nutrition and made food taste better. The essential oils were used as incense in the home, in businesses, for hospitality, and in the synagogue. In worship, the odor of the incenses provided away for the Jews to identify God. The pouring on of the essential oils notified God’s people of his chosen leader. Moreover, the essential oils were very expensive and precious to the people. Research the scriptures of Solomon 4:10 and John 12:3, because these two verses explain why the essential oils were expensive and precious. Song of Solomon New Living Translation: Your love delights me, my treasure, my bride. Your love is better than wine, your perfume more fragrant than spices. According to this scripture, in this chapter Jesus Christ, explains our value to him. The church who believes in him is valuable, because the church depends on him, they continue to be influenced by his grace and this makes us more acceptable to him. (Psalm 91:14)
My Biblical anointing oil blends are a representation of our faith in Jesus Christ. Through the use of Biblical Blends and prayer we have discovered blessings, intercession, encouragement, protection, and miracles.
There is a number of ways to use the remedies and recipes in this book. I use these suggested recipes to bring healing, through the Holy Spirit and faith, to those who are in need. Each essential oil has a power, because God ordained them for worship and healing. Through, multiple anointing’s, I have witnessed miracles granted by God.
Following the Bible’s instructions, noted in the book of James, we anoint our loved ones in churches across this country; however, the prayer of faith provides the healing. We can use this same principle to anoint loved ones, the sick, or those in need anywhere, because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
To anoint someone; simply choose the blend that describes their situation best. Anointing means to message and primarily to the scalp; however, I recommend application directly to the affected area. A dab of the anointing oil on their forehead or palms of their hands was never recorded in scripture. This is simply a modern-day technique. In addition, you can use a prayer cloth. The prayer cloth was established by the disciples, but was named by the Christians.
