VICTORY ANOINTING OIL

The world describes victorious as winning. Winning games, war, and gaining prosperity. Our salvation is what we seek and find in Jesus. Oh, do we ever have victory in the Lord! We are on the winning team. Our enteral life is secure.

Victory took place at the cross! When Jesus died for our sins. Jesus surrendered His will to the Father.

Luke 22:42
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

1 John 5:4-5
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

What is your definition of Christian VICTORY?

Many Christians are being taught the world’s view of victory. This VICTORY includes getting OUR will, OUR desires, or OUR goals. Others are teaching that victory is a matter of preaching the gospel into new areas and by following the rules of the church. Even though, it’s entirely possible for us to succeed God is really unhappy with these thoughts. However, God resolves this issue for us!
In reality, VICTORY means God getting His will and His glory. He desires to have a relationship with us; so, He bought us with a price. In I Corinthians: Paul describes the possibilities of our victory in Christ. Victory occurs when corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to plight that, Death is swallowed up in victory. Remember the saying, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” ________________________________________________________________________________________________________Rember, “The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law?”

But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 15:54-57)
