Unity in the church

Read Psalms 133 to determined that unity is good and pleasant.

I believe we have unity here in this church. At other churches it’s been good, but fragile. Nevertheless, we need to study on unity, because without church unity we cannot fulfill the goals that Christ has given for this church.

In this world, I cannot find unity. You go right has committees on peace, but there is no peace. There’s no peace and conventions. But with the blood bond of Jesus Christ we could have unity in the church. We can give the world what they’re looking for. We can give the world unity.

David experienced division probably more than any other Bible character. He was loved and hated by the king. Remember, the women sang a song that Saul had killed thousands but Daniel had killed tens of thousands. Then, Saul got so jealous that is sought to kill David.

This brought Israel to a silver war and David camped in the wilderness. In first Samuel chapter 5 we see God bringing the two kingdoms back together under the rule of David. Only God could bring unity. We can have unity in this church if we focus and stay with Jesus. We will have ultimate unity in heaven.

Let’s consider these unity scriptures

I strongly believe that if we are in Christ we are part of the New Creation and part of a community where old social paradigms of hierarchies and caste or class systems have no place in ministry. (2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 3:28) Currently, with the Holy Spirit I am writing my 12th Bible Study. I enjoy volunteering at Elk Valley Christian school, guest appearances, traveling to teach God's word, doing research, and learning new things.
