You cannot bargain with God. You cannot command God. Did you can trust God.
The only way we can have friendship with God is receiving gods gift which is paid for by Jesus Christ. It is the forgiveness of our sins and receiving the grace of God. This is how we became friends with Jesus Christ.
Then We read John 15:15. In the scripture God calls us friends and not servants.How great is the statement? The God of the universe creator God wants us to be his friend. How wonderful? How exciting? We are friends with the God of the universe
Being a friend of God, we enjoy certain privileges. We have direct contact. On earth as if we were to go see a king or queen we could not make direct contact with them. There’s certain procedures and formalities that we would have to go through in order to visit with them. But with God we have insider information. We have his word. We understand certain mysteries of the universe.
It is extremely important to God the father that we become his friends, because he sent his only begotten son just so you can save those who are lost. In Exodus 34:14 says God is passionate about you. Did you know that God gets jealous? God is jealous over you. When we decide to go to a ball game instead of talking or worshiping God and church he’s a bandit. When we decide to miss church service to go on our boat he is jealous. He’s jealous of the time that we spend with our idols.
Just like in our human relationships a friend gets jealous when we abandon them to pursue other avenues of happiness? I have a great friend named Bernice and we love to go out to eat. I feel bad when I can’t spend time with her and other priorities have to come first. I feel bad when I can’t spend time with my husband to attend a meeting. God is a Jealous God.
Hosea 6:6 is a hard scripture to swallow, because it says that God does not want your sacrifice. I was always taught that sacrifice is important, but above yes God wants our love. God wants us to know him. In order to be in the right relationship with Jesus and to be able to call Jesus your friend you must love him above all.
To know and to love God is the purpose of our life. God did not put us on earth to do what we want. God did not put us on this earth just a check off her to do list. God put us on this earth to have a relationship with him.

New Living Translation
26 From one man[a] he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.
27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.
If we do not have a relationship with God we miss the total purpose of our being. Do you have a successful relationship with God we need the following things:
1. Make knowing God my number one priority. Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of Go;.
2. You must decide who you want to be your best friend.
3. Slow down and be quiet or perhaps you had heard it said the still and listen.
4. Maintain a constant conversation with God. Have you ever started a text to someone as the day started and all day long you texted him how your day went? Often this is the case. But what if we did this with God?
