Coronavirus Prayer: STOP COVID19 Join our “Like-Minded Intercessors Group” (#finding healing in God’s backyard)

Stomp Covid19/Coronavirus Prayer

Introduction: Hello! My name is Jessica Linhart. I am a Christian Author from Elkview WV. I want to challenge you to become “like-minded intercessors!” Please join our group and pray today! We want to ask God to stop the Coronavirus in it’s tracts and to heal all the folks that are currently effected. Then, I would like for you to continue your prayer by focusing in on all the medical professionals, patients, essential workers, and those under quarantine whose lives are being disrupted.

Before you attempt to pray, let me remind you of a few things

                                  from the “Word of God!” Consider the following:

First, consider your status! Are you saved? The Bible states the following: “John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” Don’t worry, you can still be apart of our prayer group, just accept that Jesus Christ is your sacrifice for your sin. Ask him for forgiveness and stop your sin. Next, get in contact with me or a local church, because your journey just begin.
Secondly, we must realize that some people are unable or unwilling to pray for themselves; therefore, we need to make this prayer a “standing in the gap” prayer. As “Like-Minded Intercessors” we continue to pray at frequent interludes symbolically “standing In” the same spiritual gap. We do this, because of the following scripture in the Bible: Isaiah 62:6 says, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.”

Prayer Format:
First, Adoration: Dear Heavenly Father
Secondly, Thanksgiving: Praise God for who He is and what He has done you us.
Thirdly, Petition: Please join our group and pray today! We want to ask God to stop the Coronavirus in it’s tracts and to heal all the folks that are currently effected. Then, I would like for you to continue your prayer by focusing in on all the medical professionals, patients, essential workers, and those under quarantine whose lives are being disrupted.
Fourthly, Supplication: In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Lord, Revelation 1:1, tells us that you are the Great Physician. I thank you for all healings you have given me and I thank you for all the healings and miracles you have allowed me to witness.
Lord, I proclaim Psalm 18:2 “You are my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
Please allow me to enter into your presence this hour. Please open your ears and hear the cries of your people. Like you said you would in: (Proverbs 2:2).
I ask you to allow me to stand in the gap, for those in my country that can not pray or who do not believe.
We come before you requesting your mercy on us to terminate the coronavirus.
We pray for those, at this present time, infected with coronavirus. In Matthew 8:17 you told us that Jesus “Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” So, Lord, give them the healing they require; whether that be, direct from you or done by your hand by our compassionate medical care. Lord, I ask you to remove this virus stronghold and restore each one of them to health.
God, please put your hedge of protection around all those who are medical professionals. Shield and guide each one of them as they administer healing treatments and care to the sick.
Lord, keep this disease from our families, from for our babies, our children, our elders, our homeless, the disabled, and those weakened by other health conditions.
Please bring comfort to everyone in quarantine and who are sheltering in place. Provide food and water for each one. Give them comfort and guard from disease, anxiety and fear.
God, send your ministering spirits to our public healthcare leaders and government officials. Give them wisdom in fighting the coronavirus. Grant us all the resources and manpower we need to stomp out this pandemic.
Lord, if you do not heal our people and our land by miracles instantly, give us researchers to track the course of the coronavirus. Give us great doctors and nurses to deliver the treatments, cures, and vaccines we need to live. May you guide them, reveal new ideas, and Give us amazing breakthroughs. For you are the fulfilled promise of Psalm 46:1 “You are our help in our time of need.”
Oh God, we pray for our communities; restore us to health.
Lord God, as this virus persists may we draw closer to you. Let us grow in your knowledge. Give us compassion, and I’ll not forget to praise you.
Thank you Lord for allowing us to enter your throne room one more time.
Amen.

I’m a member of Hissom Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene. The church is located in the heart of Charleston, WV. I’m so glad that God lead me to a church where all the members love to study God’s word. The members are really good about giving their testimonies and praise reports. The church was established in the 1934. It’s mission is truly to serve others. Monday through Friday and Wednesday nights, we serve meals to the homeless. We also have an open food pantry every Tuesday and it serves between 100 to 200 families a week. Then, we have a free clothing closet open Monday through Friday!
