The fifth benefit of praising God is building our trust in him. 2 Chronicles 20:13-15

The fifth benefit of praising God is building our trust in him.
2 Chronicles 20:13-15
And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;
15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Today, let’s dive deeper into the story of Jehoshaphat! We see that the King has been praising God in various ways. The sixth way that the king praises God is that he expands his viewpoint. He simply waits upon the Lord. According cording to the story, God raises up a profit. The prophet then tells the people to have trust in the Lord. Just like God’s people in this time era we must focus upon God! We need to ask God to handle the situations. Then, we need to set our focus upon the Lord and watch what he does for us. God does not want us to set around and worry about our situations. Worrying about our situations takes up too much time. We don’t have much time on earth to spread the gospel and this is what God wants us to do with our life.
When we let our emotions get the best of us Satan can creek into our mist. When you feel the emotion of worry read the book of Psalms and kick the father of lies out. I love Psalm 91:2 and Psalm 18:2. Some other things Christians can do is as follows: pray, count your blessings, sing some hymns, read testimonies, or call a friend. Please remember above all that worry is Not from God. In your thoughts realize and meditate on the fact the God is love and He loves you. Finally, we need to praise the Lord when he delivers us. What has God delivered you from and how is your life better?

I strongly believe that if we are in Christ we are part of the New Creation and part of a community where old social paradigms of hierarchies and caste or class systems have no place in ministry. (2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 3:28) Currently, with the Holy Spirit I am writing my 12th Bible Study. I enjoy volunteering at Elk Valley Christian school, guest appearances, traveling to teach God's word, doing research, and learning new things.
