What is sanctification?

Sanctification shows growth in the life of the believer. When I am asked to clarify the meaning of sanctification I reply with: “it’s leaving the milk and moving onto the meat.” It is also to set apart our selves for the sacred purposes of God. This also means to consecrate and to be free from sin by allowing the Holy Spirit to purify us. In other words, entire sanctification is the second work of grace. First we are justified (as if I had never sinned). Being totally separated and sold out to God. A person who does not have to sin, but walks after the Holy Spirit. My old person has died to sin. As Christian Perfection or filled with the Holy Spirit!

I strongly believe that if we are in Christ we are part of the New Creation and part of a community where old social paradigms of hierarchies and caste or class systems have no place in ministry. (2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 3:28) Currently, with the Holy Spirit I am writing my 12th Bible Study. I enjoy volunteering at Elk Valley Christian school, guest appearances, traveling to teach God's word, doing research, and learning new things.
